Sandra Ilomaki - Founder & CEO

Sandra Lynn Ilomaki is the Founder and CEO of Empower Women Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on providing a "hand up" to women in need. Sandra's personal journey from single motherhood and poverty to obtaining multiple academic degrees inspired her to create a foundation that could provide similar support to other women facing similar challenges.

As the CEO of Empower Women Foundation, Sandra's responsibilities include overseeing the organization's programs and initiatives, collaborating with other stakeholders, and advocating for policies that positively impact the lives of women and girls. Sandra is passionate about providing leadership training, mentoring, and networking opportunities to women through EmpowerHer and FutureMakers programs. 

Sandra's vision is to create a world where women have equal opportunities to achieve their goals, irrespective of their background or financial status. She believes that women play a crucial role in advancing social and economic progress and that organizations like Empower Women Foundation can help support women in their pursuit of these goals. Through the foundation's programs and services, Sandra hopes to create a supportive community where women can connect, learn, and grow together.

Heather Long - Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Heather Long is an experienced finance professional with a passion for helping organizations achieve their financial goals. She currently serves as the CFO of Empower Women Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to providing economic resources and opportunities to women in need.

As the CFO, Heather is responsible for managing the organization's finances, developing and implementing financial strategies, and ensuring that the foundation is financially sustainable. Her expertise in finance and accounting has been invaluable in guiding the foundation's efforts to create innovative and effective programs and services that can benefit women and their families.

Heather is committed to Empower Women Foundation's mission of empowering women through economic opportunity. She firmly believes that investing in women and girls is not only a moral imperative, but also an investment in the people who invest in everyone else. As Melinda Gates said, "When we invest in women and girls, we are investing in the people who invest in everyone else." Heather is dedicated to providing economic resources and education to women, as she knows that these resources are necessary to create a more equitable and just society.

Janiah Clark - Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Janiah Clark is a dedicated member of the board of directors at Empower Women Foundation, currently serving as the CMO. With a deep understanding and strong passion for economic development, Janiah is committed to ensuring that the foundation fulfills its mission to empower women of all backgrounds through economic opportunity.

Janiah's interest in the female economy is evident in her involvement with various initiatives and organizations that aim to combat economic insufficiency among women from underserved communities. As a member of the board, Janiah is particularly committed to advocating for gender equity while providing valuable perspectives for program implementation.

Tiera Moore - Chief Design Officer (CDO)

Tiera Moore is a visionary professional with a multifaceted background that seamlessly blends advanced education, impactful work experience, and an unyielding passion for creativity. As the Chief Design Officer at Empower Women Foundation, Tiera brings a unique blend of expertise to our team.

Armed with a Master of Business Administration specializing in IoT Networking & Cyber Security from the University of West Georgia, Tiera's academic journey stands as a testament to her exceptional accomplishments, including graduating cum laude with a GPA of 3.80. Her dedication to excellence shines through in her participation in the WIT Campus + OPTIV Security Hackathon, where she demonstrated her prowess in the field.

Tiera's professional journey is characterized by roles that showcase her adaptability and resolute commitment. Serving as a Graduate Research Assistant for Management at the University of West Georgia, she adeptly managed tasks ranging from data collection to literature reviews and SAP projects, solidifying her analytical acumen and research proficiency.

Her coursework resonates with her expertise in the ever-evolving realm of cybersecurity. Diving into subjects like Offensive Defensive Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing Cybersecurity, and Cyber Threat Management, Tiera displays a profound understanding of the intricacies of the digital landscape. Her studies have armed her with insights into ethical hacking, cloud computing architecture, and strategies for mitigating threats.

Outside of her professional sphere, Tiera's interests span a vibrant spectrum, encompassing photography, cooking, and woodworking. These creative pursuits illuminate her holistic approach to life and her innate ability to draw inspiration from various sources.

Dr. Jeanie Pridmore - Director

Jeannie Pridmore is the Chair of the Information Systems & Computer Science department at Georgia College & State University. She's an experienced Information Systems Professor and Program Director with a demonstrated history of working in higher education and industry. She has served as the faculty sponsor of WITC group and runs a Girls Who Code Club for 3rd to 5th graders.

Jeannie is also a dedicated board of directors member at Empower Women Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on providing economic opportunities for women in need. As a board member, Jeannie is committed to advancing the foundation's mission to empower women of all backgrounds by providing impactful programs and services.

Jeannie believes in the power of women supporting other women. Her favorite quote, "Empowered women, empower women," embodies her belief that women can create positive change in the world by lifting each other up and providing support and resources to help other women succeed.

Hope George - Director

Hope George is a first-grade teacher in Carroll County,  Georgia, where she is dedicated to providing an enriching and inclusive learning environment for her students. In addition to her role as a teacher, Hope is a committed member of the board of directors at Empower Women Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on providing resources and opportunities to women in need.

As a member of the board, Hope is committed to advancing the foundation's mission to empower women of all backgrounds through education and economic opportunity. Her experience in education and child development has been valuable in guiding the foundation's efforts to create innovative and effective programs and services that can benefit women and their families.

Hope is passionate about the power of education to transform lives and communities. Her favorite quote is, "Today I give myself grace and remind myself how far I've come." She believes that by providing women with access to education and resources, we can help them reach their full potential and create positive change in their lives and communities.
