The Journey Through Resilience is a 5K-type event with various obstacles to show the struggle of a woman's journey through life. Obstacles will include things such as pushing a stroller, stopping to reflect on violence, etc.
We will be hosting a donation drive for baby items and household goods; all items will be donated to the West Georgia Domestic Violence Shelter and Pregnancy Resource Center.
Collection bins are available on-site.
The cost of the event is $30 per person. The cost includes a t-shirt and refreshments at the event. No refunds can be issued after payment has been made.
Schedule:
8 am - 9 am: Pre-Registration and Sign-in / refreshments provided
9 am - 11 am: 5K
11 am - 12 pm: Socialization / refreshments provided
